With peace education as the theme, Art Garden Museum invited art education experts and art academies as well as related organizations both from home and abroad to have a panel discussion on October 16, 2014 in the Museum. More than 30 Chinese and foreign guests, including Li Ruohong, chairman of Beijing International Peace Culture Foundation, Li Rongwang, former secretary-general of China National Scholarship Management Committee, Guan Xiliang, office director of Education Research and Development Center of the Ministry of education of China, Shen Zunguang, deputy chairman of the Chinese National Artists Association, Li Bo, director of the Art and Science International Exchange Department of Qinghua University, Li Guoling, associate professor of the Opera Department of the Central Conservatory of Music and Guan Changxin, associate professor of the Piano Department of China Conservatory of Music as well as professors and artists from some French art education academies. They explored together the internationalization development of art education under the divergences of different culture background.
The French guests introduced their cultivating tradition of music talents and music education structure as well as the feeling on the differences of the cultivation of music talents between China and France. Associate professor Guan changxin said in his speech that it happened to be the 50th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and France this year. We hoped to have more exchange visits with the French musicians in the future.
Li Ruohong talked about the historical and realistic importance of culture cooperation between China and France in his speech. He said that culture and art are the link for the people of our two countries to communicate feelings. They can also drive the social and economic interaction between the two countries.
